Chaos & Crocodiles, Rainbow Polish and Pomegranate = Gorgeous

Hi my  Nail Ladies!

I am reviewing four (4) gorgeous and absolutely stunning polishes today.  I know that you will agree with me that I ended up with a perfect manicure for this fall season.  Different and beautiful glitters make this one of my most favorite swatches I have done.  I'm sorry if you get tired of me using the word "gorgeous".   I will apologize up front, however sometimes there are no other adjectives to express or explain how to you how I feel.

First I'll share the undies or base coat polishes I selected.  The first one is Sea Glass by Chaos & Crocodiles.  Sea Glass is a turquoise creme polish that has glass-fleck shimmer and very fine glitter that shifts between gold, green, and blue.   This turquoise is so gorgeous.  The application was fantastic.  This definitely is my go to turquoise.  I just LOVE it.

The second polish that I used as an undie is Autumnesque by Pomegranate Nail Lacquer.  This is an awesome copper polish with golden shimmer that reflects russet leaves, apple cider, and all that is best about fall.  The application was easy and covered in two coats.  I am truly impressed by the beauty of this polish.

OK, let's talk about Rainbow Polish.  I just received my order of her glitter top coats.   I could not resist their beauty and had to use them right away.   Let's discuss Havasu.  WOW!  This polish was created with  burnt orange hexes, gold hex & square glitters, teal blue hex glitter, and smaller teal and blue glitter in a clear suspension base.   I applied this beauty over Sea Glass.  Loved it!!

The other color I used was Pheasant.  Awwwww, the gorgeous Pheasant!  This does resemble the beautiful bird.  This polish contains small gold glitter, teal glitters, copper glitter, and a sprinkling of large red hex glitter in a clear suspension base.  I applied Pheasant over Autumnesque.  Can you spell "Gorgeous" with a capital G?

In my pictures you will see the result of two coats of undie or base coat polishes and only one coat of the glitters.  Sea Glass with Havasu is on my ring finger and Autumnesque with Pheasant is on all my other fingers.  I applied two coats of HK Girl Fast Drying Clear Top Coat.

Falling For You by Sparkle Nail Lacquer (Part 3 of 3)

Don't you just love the Fall Season?  There is nothing more gorgeous than those colorful falling leafs.

My falling leafs are being brought to you via our fingernail polish of the day Falling For You by Jenn of Sparkle Nail Lacquer.  

My nails look just like they have fallen leafs on them.  My manicure is just stunning and so appropriate for the fall season.  This is when my nail polish addiction is so much fun.  Who would have thunk that we can adorn our nails to celebrate everything?


Falling For You is a clear based polish with fine sparkle orange glitter, small brown hex glitter, small light green matte hex, square yellow matte glitter and red bars.   This is a great polish to apply on top of a contrasting base coat.

I applied Falling for You over Don't Talk Bach To Me by OPI.  I really enjoyed this combination and I know that you would too!  This application was easy peasy.  There was no diving into the pile of raked leafs (that would be the bottle) to get more on my brush....Oh I mean my rake!  :)

I would suggest that you consider this look for Thanksgiving.  Gorgeous!!!

Hollywood Gold Star by Sparkle Nail Lacquer (Part 2 of 3)

Today we have Part 2 of 3 on my reviews of Jenn's Etsy shop, Sparkle Nail Lacquer.

Do you have any idea of what the name of this gorgeous polish?  Let's see....hmmmmm from the picture above, I would say it is.  What?  Hollywood Gold Star Yes that's her name and she sure lives up to it in all her goldenness.  She's a star alright.

As Jenn states, Hollywood Gold Star is in a gold shimmer base with fine holo gold hex, gold holo stars, large gold hex, gold bars and gold shreds.

I applied HGS over Belgian Chocolate by gGal Polish, a gorgeous metallic brown.  This combination did not disappoint me.  It is stunning!  Stunning, I say!  The application of HGS was a dream.  I did not have to go digging for my golden rewards.   The one and only problem that I did incur was that the large gold hex curled a bit on me.  You can overcome this by pressing them down at application.  This would not stop me from loving and re-wearing this gorgeous golden goddess.  I ended my manicure with just only one coat of SV.

Well, I think it's time we go to Hollywood and see this star of a polish.  Come on!!

So how did you enjoy your trip?  I LOVED Hollywood Gold Star....beautiful!!  It is so eye catching!!  My husband asked me what I had on my nails that sparkled so much.   I do believe he loves the bling as much as I do.

DARK LOVE by Sparkle Nail Lacquer

Today we are going to take a look at a new Etsy shop, Sparkle Nail Lacquer.  Jennifer Surgent-Gieger  is the owner and creator of these fabulous polishes.

Jennifer is really sweet and sent me three of her polishes to swatch and review.
 

At first I thought I would post all three together but then I changed my mind and decided I would dedicate a post a day for them.

I will start with Dark Love.  As Jenn describes that LOVE can be dark and mysterious.  This polish, in a clear base, is a custom blend of fine pink holo hex, fine charcoal hex, large holo light pink hex, holo pink hearts, and black hearts.

I have shown this stunning polish applied on top of I ♥ Rock & Roll by Takko Lacquer. This is a mysterious blackened red polish.  I thought it would go perfect with Dark Love, which it is!!  The only problem is that it only reads black after the application of Dark Love.
 

I enjoyed working with this polish.  My only suggestion would be is to allow drying time between applications.  This is recommended to minimize bare spots.

Well, that my friends is a pictorial of Dark Love.  It is a gorgeous stunning pink and black glitter clear based polish.  To be honest my photos did not do justice to this mysterious creation.  Sometimes it it just hard to capture all that sparkle.
