Kim, A Custom Polish Created by Shimmer Polish!

Blue!  Do you like/love the color of blue?

What I'm about to show you is one of the most stunning, gorgeous blue glitter polishes that I have ever encountered since I discovered the wonderful world of Indie polish.

Kim is the  name of this polish.  She was created by Cindy of Shimmer Polish as a custom creation for Kim who is the owner of Overall Beauty.  This outstanding polish is described as a blue purple mixed glitter polish!

I would say that she is a gorgeous unique Sapphire blue!

Kim (the polish) is sold at Shimmer Polish's Etsy store and is now being sold and is an exclusive to Overall Beauty.

I layered one coat of Kim over two coats of Order of the Garter by a England.  Order of the Garter is described by a England as majestically deep and filled with truth's purity & strength of will, this royal blue inspires honour with every scintillating pulse.

Monroe is a New Release from Shimmer Polish

I just had to place an order immediately when I read that Cindy at Shimmer Polish had created NEW glitter polishes this week.  Of course it was like...OK I want them all...BUT my wallet wouldn't let me do that.  I then thought I would go dark and vampy.  I looked at the darkest new colors Cindy had created. 

I knew at once I had to get Marilyn.  You probably think I got Marilyn thinking of Marilyn Monroe.  I didn't!  I purchased this gorgeous red glittered polish in memory of my first and best friend.  Her name was Marilyn Suzanne.  Her family called her Suzie.  She became my best friend at once.  We were just five years old.  I can still see her great big beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair.  It's just an image I will always carry, a beautiful memory of my best friend.

Marilyn is a Vampy Burgundy Red Polish with fine microglitter.  She was such a joy to work with.  I layered her over Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine by OPI.  I was really elated on how this swatch turned out.

Go Pink Wednesday!!! My Breast Cancer Awareness Swatch!

A group of more than 25 amazing bloggers have agreed to join Finger Painting Fingers and together we will be rocking pink manicures on Wednesdays in support of  Breast Cancer Awareness month!

I joined this amazing group of bloggers to put pink war paint on my fingernails every Wednesday in October.

I do this in memory of my aunt Betty.  She will always be a pink warrior in my mind!

The pink war paint I will use for my swatch is Vicki by Shimmer Polish applied over Pink Forever by Sinful Colors.

Cindy at Shimmer Polish created Vicki as her Breast Cancer Awareness polish.

I am delighted on how this combo turned out!  Gorgeous pink shimmer!

I really enjoyed completing this manicure.  It is easy when you have such fantastic polishes to work with.
