My Last "Go Pink Wednesday" Mani With OPI BCA Duo!

 This is my fifth and last posting for Go Pink Wednesday.  I do this with much sadness as I have looked forward to each and every Wednesday I have shared with you for Breast Cancer Awareness.

It has been such a privilege to be part of the wonderful bloggers of this group that stood together for the fight against Breast Cancer.

As We in unison, have stated over and over Awareness is the Key!!

Awareness is Knowledge!! 

We must be proactive against this cancer.  Please get your mammograms and make sure not to forget how important your own daily self-examination is to early detection!

For this, my last pink manicure I choose the OPI Breast Cancer Awareness Duo which consists of I Think In Pink and You Glitter Be Nice To Me.  Together these polishes create the most gorgeous combination of pinks!  I Think in Pink is a stunning pink jelly polish with You Glitter Be Nice To Me being a smashingly gorgeous glitter of outstanding pinks.

I applied three coats of I Think In Pink with two coats of You Glitter Be Nice To Me.  

Oh!  WOW!  Hold on to your little piggy toe!  You are about to be blown away to a sparkling wonderland of pink!

May I introduce you to our stars of the day.  It's I Think in Pink and her sister, You Glitter Be Nice To Me!

 What a gorgeous pair they are!

They insisted that they wear their name labels so that we would not get them mixed up!!

I told them that we could never confuse them because one is a jelly and the other is glitter!

 Well, look here!!  I'm holding both of them!

Not to ever take away from their beauty!

 I just had to show that I could do it!!  ;-)

 It's time for me NOW to direct your attention to the gorgeous combination of pink they created!

 This my friends is what I call the supreme of pink!

 A wonderful tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness!

Dedicated to all our family members who were ever touched my this tragic cancer!

We show our pink war paint on our nails for a sign of support!

 Warriors in pink!  That is what they are called!

 Can you hear their drums as they pound out their stories?

 Perhaps the noise of the drums will quiet one day!

What do you think?

 Will this ever happen?

 All of my hope is that it will!

 But, we will always continue to wear our pink polish!

 And, always remember those who were not saved!

These five pink manicures have been in the honor off my Aunt Betty!!!  You are never forgotten!

Monroe is a New Release from Shimmer Polish

I just had to place an order immediately when I read that Cindy at Shimmer Polish had created NEW glitter polishes this week.  Of course it was like...OK I want them all...BUT my wallet wouldn't let me do that.  I then thought I would go dark and vampy.  I looked at the darkest new colors Cindy had created. 

I knew at once I had to get Marilyn.  You probably think I got Marilyn thinking of Marilyn Monroe.  I didn't!  I purchased this gorgeous red glittered polish in memory of my first and best friend.  Her name was Marilyn Suzanne.  Her family called her Suzie.  She became my best friend at once.  We were just five years old.  I can still see her great big beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair.  It's just an image I will always carry, a beautiful memory of my best friend.

Marilyn is a Vampy Burgundy Red Polish with fine microglitter.  She was such a joy to work with.  I layered her over Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine by OPI.  I was really elated on how this swatch turned out. 

It is gorgeous!!  I ♥ Marilyn!

Falling For You by Sparkle Nail Lacquer (Part 3 of 3)

Don't you just love the Fall Season?  There is nothing more gorgeous than those colorful falling leafs.

The above falling leafs were brought to you by Spindale, North Carolina and Frankfort, Kentucky trees.

My falling leafs are being brought to you via our fingernail polish of the day Falling For You by Jenn of Sparkle Nail Lacquer.  

My nails look just like they have fallen leafs on them.  My manicure is just stunning and so appropriate for the fall season.  This is when my nail polish addiction is so much fun.  Who would have thunk that we can adorn our nails to celebrate everything?


Falling For You is a clear based polish with fine sparkle orange glitter, small brown hex glitter, small light green matte hex, square yellow matte glitter and red bars.   This is a great polish to apply on top of a contrasting base coat.

I applied Falling for You over Don't Talk Bach To Me by OPI.  I really enjoyed this combination and I know that you would too!  This application was easy peasy.  There was no diving into the pile of raked leafs (that would be the bottle) to get more on my brush....Oh I mean my rake!  :)

I would suggest that you consider this look for Thanksgiving.  Gorgeous!!!
