How bout a little drinky while you wash your socks?

Shhhhh!!! Don't Tell Mama, but I've invented a new way to clean my socks and take a little drinky at the same time. See..you reach out and get your sock wet and......

....then you can get your little drinky. It keeps my socks just oh so "white". Perhaps you should try it the next time your socks get dirty and you're a little thirsty.

Are You Watching the Olympics?

I have been watching the Olympics as much as my schedule will allow me.  How about you? The United States is doing an awesome job.
To pledge my support I altered my manicure in red, white and blue.
I choose Julep's America glitter polish.  I'm sorry to say that polish is very hard to apply.  I struggled to just get it out of the bottle.  In my opinion this polish was very dry.  It's as if Julep put too much glitter in the bottle.  The dryness caused the brush to glop together and become stiff.  It was as if I was using a stick.
I did take photos of this and I must say it looks pretty good.  I applied two coats of SV and I need to apply another coat as the glitter is still rough on my nails.
In my opinion, the application far out weighs the end result.  I will never use it again unless I would put polish thinner with it.
I would love to know if anyone has used this polish and what is your feelings about it.

I'm in Love With Whimsical Ideas by Pam

I am shouting my happiness to share with you today my swatches of polishes created by Whimsical Ideas by Pam.  In my humble opinion Pam is "The BEST".  Her customer service surpasses all other indie polish creators.  Plus her polishes are truly awesome.  It is actually a pleasure to  manicure my nails with her polishes.  The glitter lies flat with only one application of top coat needed.  Smooth as glass!!
I have every single color of her polishes.  They are my treasures!

On this one I first applied Megan Miller's Collection Lemon Ice as an undie on all my nails with the exception of my ring fingers.  On my ring fingers I applied OPI's Pedal Faster Suzie as an undie.  Then I applied Hatched over the Lemon Ice and Nancy's Birthday over Pedal Faster Suzie.

It's Your Time to Sparkle with July's Julep Mavin Box

Yesterday was a "good" day!  I received my July's Julep Mavin Box. My selection is the It Girl series and this month's theme is based on "It's Your Time to Sparkle".
Sparkle it does!!  The polishes included are Daphne, Kate and Mila.  PLUS this month I received the America polish which is a gorgeous red, white & blue glitter in a red base.  America is the free item that was sent this month.
