Arms and Armory x Cirque Introduces “Alter Ego” Collaboration

New York based artisans, Arms and Armory and Cirque teamed up and created a unique project called Alter Ego, a special edition ring and nail polish duo.  the set was released December 3, 2012 and can be purchased through the Arms and Armory and Cirque websites.

Alter Ego is a collaboration that features an art deco-inspired ring, designed by Arms and Armory, and a cosmic black nail lacquer, handmade by Cirque.  The gunmetal-plated ring has an adjustable band that can fit a range of sizes and boasts a black enamel triangle in the center.  It is paired with this nontraditional black polish that displays a bold prismatic flame when exposed to direct lighting.

Arms and Armory, as described by them, is a New York-based art collective specializing in hand crafted jewelry. Inspired by old mythology, science history and magic, Arms and Armory blends the ideas of the future with styles of the past to create beautiful works of wearable art.

Cirque is an artisan's line of hand-blended nail polish made in New York.  The name Cirque, meaning ring or circle, represents the color wheel and the endless color possibilities in the continuum.  Creator, Annie Pham, sought to develop colors that transcend those of conventional brands by experimenting with unique pigments and raw materials.

I completed my manicure with just two coats of this fabulous formulation and applied one coat of Porshe' top coat.  Gorgeous!!!

Haruka and Come What May by Daily Lacquer

I have a special treat for everyone today!!  My blog post is dedicated to Daily Lacquer.  This polish line was created by Maggy Collins.  She is one of the sweetest people in the business.

I was first tempted by the awesome swatching pictures created by the most lovely Mimi of Mimi Manicures.  One look and I had to order six polishes from Daily Lacquer.  I have two to share with you today.  It was a hard decision to pick just two out of the six because they are all out of this world unique and gorgeous!

I decided on Haruka from her Outer Planets CollectionHaruka is a bright yellow jelly filled with little blue glitters including hearts and moons.

As stated by Maggy, Haruka is based on Sailor Uranus and she is a powerful woman who lives and she chooses and loves who she wants to.  Dare to wear this lovely polish on your nails to make you feel like the Sailor Scout princess you are!  I am in love with this stunning yellow polish creation!!

Next is Come What May from her All You Need Is Love CollectionCome What May is a light grey crelly polish filled with hot pink holographic and matte glitter!!   I lust after any polish that is grey and especially with hot pink glitter spinning through-out!

As stated by Maggy,  the lovers in the Moulin Rouge sang this song to remind each other that no matter what happens they would always love each other.

Never forget the greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return!  I just love, love?  Yes love the way Maggy describes her polish collections!!

Both of my manicures were completed with three coats of polish, one coat of Glitter Food by Nail Pattern Boldness and ended with one coat of Porshe' top coat.

Come on my friends, let's take a look!

Hello there beautiful Haruka!

Look at that colorful shot of her little hiney!!

Love the name tag!!  She wears it well!

Close-up time.  She is a star!

 Come What May!!

She loves her rear shot!  Wouldn't you if you had hot pink glitter on your rear?  Darn right!

She has a lot of heart!!

Oh My!!  I almost forgot to show you her name tag!!

Don't you agree?  Life is just so much better with Daily Lacquer on your nails!!

You can purchase Haruka and Come What May at Maggy's website SHOP!

I must take a minute to say Maggy's Shop is one of the most unique websites to order from.  It contains just little things that only a person as creative as Maggy would interface into a website.

Daily Lacquer is also sold on Maggy's Etsy Shop!

Don't over look checking out her Facebook Page!

I hope your day and night are filled with the most ravishing sparkling glitter!

A Valentine Post with Viscous Vampire by Pretty Serious and Sparkly Markaly by Whimsical Nail Polish by Pam!

Happy Valentine's Day all my Lovelies!!

I have two red stunning beauties to share with you today!!

The first one is Viscous Vampire created by Pretty Serious.  This is a new polish line to me.  Leah Ann of Llarowe just recently launched the Pretty Serious polish line.  I immediately placed an order for seven of them.   I'm in love with every single one of these beauties.  I decided to start with Viscous Vampire because of its color.  Since it's a Valentine's Day I felt it had to be red....so red it is!!
And, what a red she is!!  Did you know that Vampires sparkle??  They do!  Viscous Vampire has a bright red jelly base, with multi-sized red and fuschia glitter.

I, then thought ummmm, I just received my order of Whimsical Nail Polishes by Pam's Valentine CollectionSparkly Markaly would be a perfect red glitter to apply over VV.  Sparkly Markaly is a limited edition polish within the Valentine Collection.  She is one of the most gorgeous red glitter polish that I have been introduced to. Sparkly Markaly has a bright red jelly base crammed full of ravishing red glitter.

Ode to the perfect Valentine!!  These two red polish creations are a combination made by Cupid himself!!

Come on, let's open this Valentine!!

Always remember that Vampires do sparkle....especially when their first name is Viscous and her color is red!

What do we have here??  Surprise!  Take a look at this cute and cleaver packaging.  Yes, she arrives in a box!!

 Isn't Sparkly Markaly the cutest??

 I love this name tag!!
